Construction
Natt King Stoneworks, LLC coordinates with the contractor and the homeowner to develop a design and final product that best compliments the building and the site. Using a selection of nicely weathered stones from local sources, we avoid light hued, rusted stones with an appearance of being recently excavated. A weathered patina radiates a comfortable feeling of age and history.
Fireplace executions may vary from a closely fitted dry look to one with a uniformed mortar joint; and from a more conventionally symmetrical, flat faced product with crisp corners to a finished one that is random, with cascading sides or an outward flaring at the ceiling.
A fireplace with large (six thousand pound) stones can be interesting and unusual, a piece of functional art that is both furniture and fireplace.
